I have fallen and can't get up!

Took a tumble off ladder at eave level, on my back and head. My wife, came running out of the house after hearing the noise. I was in pretty bad shape. But, after she saw I was sorta OK made the comment "You could of smashed the Dog, lucky he was in the house!". I will be fine, as long as a don't run out of pain pills.

I love all you women, but come on, this guy fell off a ladder, a bit more sympathy please! Thank god you didn't fall on the dog, can you imagine the grief you'd have received, even if you were hurt worse! I was about to write "I suppose you've got to consider yourself lucky in that respect." But falling off a ladder can never be considered lucky. Happy to hear your OK though, bet you'll ache over the next few days.
