Five! When did they get to be five?

Seems like yesterday that I was reading all about bringing home a puppy and how to train them.  Just like with my kids, they turned out well even if I didn't know what I was doing. They jump on company and bark in greeting. They sleep with us and will do anything for a cookie .

 Do not hesitate to get a second doodle. The best thing we did besides getting the first. They are best friends and have to touch when they sleep.

We are semi retired and moved back to Nebraska from Arizona. The girls love having grass to play in again.

In two weeks, we'll be bringing home doodle #2 and #1 is only 9 months old - so we'll have two puppies. At times, I'm beyond excited about having two. Other times, I think we're a bit crazy. That's why I was so happy to read these words in your post: "Do not hesitate to get a second doodle. The best thing we did besides getting the first." Thanks!!!

I can totally relate to that, Mimi! I feel the same way. People often ask me Zeus' age I immediately want to say, "Two." So, I have to count back from the year he was born, and it even shocks me when, "Five" comes out of my mouth. I still see him as my wonderful little boy. Ok, so he's more like a wonderful, 90 lb. little horsie.

I just love how Lilly and Lolly are so close. It makes my heart flutter. :0)
