I used to write all the time when Lilly was a puppy and then life got in the way. We got Lolly for Lilly at Christmas because we are those kinds of people that buy a dog for their dog. Lilly is an F1b and about 15 pounds. Lolly is as F1 and about 25 pounds. Lolly is a month younger then Lilly and they are the best of friends. Lolly was going to be used as a breeder, but has hip issues so the breeder did not wan to pass that gene down and asked us if we would like her rather then a puppy. Lilly will be two in June and Lolly will be two in July.
We were living in Brownville NE , a quant little village of 90 people. we have an 1870 Victoria house, a rental and just bought the old saloon built in 1868 that needs tons of work, which means tons of money. We thought that Scott was good at the nuke plant for the next two years. (He is a nuclear engineer) He was let go in April and received a job request in May to go to the Pilgrim plant in Plymouth, MA for 6 months. We have moved all over the US and I was not looking forward to another move. It is a pain to move and to find a short term rental in a vacation area that will take two dogs was like me waking up in the morning and going from a size 22 to a size 12.
We decided to buy a motorhome. So we bought a motorhome and got new phone and was on the road in a week. Now mind you, we have never driven a MH and didn't know how to use our new phones so it was lots of fun the first two days.
The girls were great! We just put their harnesses on and strapped them in the sofa's seat belts. They could lie down, sit up or stand up without being thrown around during sudden stops. It was also good because when we stopped for gas or for meals they weren't able to get out the door without the leashes.
Now for the fun part! We are living in a campground for 6 months. A beautiful pine forest close to town. Pinewood Campground, Plymouth, MA. If you are looking for a place that will take dogs and is beautiful- this is it.

No wonder you haven't posted in a while! You're too busy having fun with your girls! They are so cute and look like sisters! It was so meant to be. Even their names are cute together. Keep enjoying your babies.
Our current RV has what is called a split bathroom. This allows for a larger shower (large is relative though). Give me enough books and I could full time it also. :-}
hi again. We bought a tiffin allegro 2004 gas with 16, 000 miles 31 ft. I just love it and think I could be a full time RVer with a couple of changes- a smaller body to fit in the shower or a larger shower and a bigger hot water heater. oh and a washer and dryer. ":)
So glad things are working out for you. We've traveled in our RV but never for more than a couple of weeks at a time - pretty sure I couldn't be a "full timer"! Sedona loves it, though.
This is awesome. We spend lots of time in our RV and love it - and so do our dogs. This is a great solution to your housing needs - at least for now. What kind of motorhome did you buy?
Wow...you are living an adventure!! Your dogs look like they are loving every minute of it! I am sorry your husband lost his job, but glad he so quickly found another one. Good luck to all of you!
What a great plan. The girls look like they are enjoying their adventure.
They are adorable! Good luck to you on your new adventure!
