Forgive me for bragging!

Tonight I am going to my youngest son's high school to watch his last musical as a high school student. He and his best friend are the male leads. I am a bit sad, he has had such a great experience. However I am filled with such pride. Their director asked my middle son to write the play (He has written plays for the school before, while he was a student, for small events but never the spring musical). My youngest the senior wrote all the lyrics and his best friend wrote the music. I am nervous and excited and can't wait! The only down side to all this is I will not be at Yappy hour until late, if anyone is still awake!

Wow--that is impressive! My son was the male lead all through high school and loved it--I was the producer (I taught at his school) so it was a fun thing to do together. He is in college now and sings in an a capella group--he says it keeps him sane and is worth all the time he has to put in!

Hope it all went well and I too remember feeling that sadness mixed with pride!
