Gavin at the dogsitters
Our neighbour down around the corner is looking after Gavin while we are away for a couple of days. We sent a baby gate as she was unsure how her two cats would react with him. She messaged me this morning, the gate has been ditched and Gavin has been wonderful with her cats.

If I lived near you, I would do all the same things in order to get Gavin for a few days, and I have two Goldendoodles of my own. Your boy has won my heart!

Just got home from picking Gavin up and saw him and the kitties interact first hand. They were just great with him. I know some cats just reject doodle attention - silly cats! I just can't beleive how fortunate we are to have this special family to look after Gavin. While we were gone she sent me unsolicited texts updating on food input and output! You gotta love that. When we arrived the husband and wife were talking over each other trying to tell how great he was. The husband even rushed home from work so that he could spend time with Gavin and give him a final walk before we picked him up. They begged us to take a week long vacation and leave Gavin with them. I love these people! They definitely need a dog.

Very cute photo.... My Shelby loves cats too... is gentle with them and wants them to play.... I've actually seen her playbow a cat before on our morning walk!

What a good boy! Halas seems to be curious about cats, but he wants to bark at them constantly. Cats don't seem to care for that.
