In 1993 I fell in LOVE with my first computer, IBM 8088XT. It was love at first touch.

In 1995 during my divorce I named my new Pack Bell Computer, Puter. He was my man.

My X-husband was so jeolous and this fueled the fire J After all, Puter could do everything for me except clean my house and cook my dinner so who needed this idiot husband?

Men name cars she, " She's runnin' like a beauty". For me, computers were male! Just how I percieved them I suppose.

Every computer since Puter was named Puter. Yes, you could call me a floosey, since I have had many many Puters since the first. Keep in mind though, I'm not that immoral. Puter introduced me to my Forever Husband, DH Roger :) who I will be married to for three years next month!

The current Puter, my favorite ( of course they all have been my favorite at the time ) began over heating several years after its’ arrival. Three fans were replaced but
it just got worse as time went on with warnings of “ CPU Temp Dangerously Out
of Range”. Puter could barely crawl through the pages and my time on DK was very limited. By last week I had to sign off within 3minutes.

WTD????? Puter was having Hot Flashes!

Puter is----------------------- A Female. Oh my. But still, she is my BFF.

Today Puta will be admitted to Computer General for a fileectomy and cardioversion.

Oh, poor Puta. I know exactly how you're feeling. I fried my hard drive on Friday...I think I'm going to have a nervous breakdown. Went to see the Apple "Genius" guy Saturday morning and he could do nothing to save my hard drive (and my sanity). So it's off to the Apple hospital for at least a week. I was so desperate I tried to buy an I Pad. No luck with that either....I'm on a waiting list. The worst part is that I had been really bad about backing up my files and pictures.....they're probably in cyber heaven right now. Very sad. My calendar is on my laptop, so I have no idea where I'm supposed to be. So, I really do understand. I'm on DH's computer right now....I really hate it. It's like when they give you a loaner car, and you don't know where anything is. I think it's going to be a long week for us Joanne without our BFFs.
