I tried to tell him many doodles do not even have a couch. He said, " Yeah, I know. I'm one of them! "

He is NOT HAPPY. Yesterday he went to sleep and fell off :)

Spud, please tell your mom to buy you a couch. My mom has one couch that she always lets me and Taquito play on - she tells us to go to our couch and that is where we play and sleep and have fun.

WHY HAS YOUR MAMA REMAINED SO SILENT? IS SHE FEELING GUILTY? IS SHE CHECKING THE DRIVEWAY EVERY FEW MINUTES FOR THE ASPCA? HOW DOES STARLIT FEEL ABOUT BEING COUCHLESS? MY MOM SUGGESTED PARENTING CLASSES FOR YOUR MOM AND DAD OR MAYBE FAMILY COUNSELING.
JUST REMEMBER, THERE IS ALWAYS A COUCH FOR YOU AT OUR HOUSE. HECK WE HAVE 5 COUCHES AT OUR HOUSE - MY MOM HAD TWO THAT WERE OFF LIMITS UNTIL WE SLOBBERED AND GOT MUD ON THEM.

Maybe Adina can donate some of the big bucks coming in to support Doodlekisses. Or, maybe we can start a "Chip In" thing like the DRC has. Would this be considered a not-for-profit donation? Would contributors get any say in the selection of said sofa?

I have just made a donation in Spud's name to "Couches For Canines", a wonderful organization which donates couches, sofas, loveseats, divans, and other necessary lounging furniture to underprivileged dogs across the country.
