Atty update: 17.6 lbs and growing.

Well, call us crazy, but we're loading up our three month old GD Atticus on a trip to the Gulf Coast for ten or so days! We've packed up bags full of his food, treats, toys, his medical records/rabies cert. etc. We bought a travel crate at Target that just pops up like a tent. We've mapped out hotels with pet policies. We're taking his life jacket for beach and boat play. Ugh. We're pretty much potty trained and I hope we don't get set backs along the trip, but I won't be surprised if we have a few accidents along the way. (Can't forget to pack nature's miracle speaking of accidents)

We had company over last weekend and Atty won our friend's heart. (Picture below of Atty and his new friend and myself)

One month till Atticus and his dad meet for the first time. (My DH has been deployed.) We can't wait! I'm sure he'll love Atty as much as Atty will adore him! I see lots of walks and bike rides together in their future!

Thanks for the well wishes, all. I hope we have the same positive experiences that all of you had. I feel less anxious after hearing your stories.

Luvlittleabby, Nature's Miracle is pet deodorizer that I use when Atty has an accident. :-) Someone on here suggested that every new owner by a gallon of and I have NEVER regretted it. And yes, I'm travelling with it.

We did a short version when Neely was about 10 or 12 wks and he learned sooo much it was one of the best and accellerated learning experiences he could of had. We are doing it again in July and August.

We took Samantha on a 1500 mile drive to Florida from NJ this past January. Just plan on making lots of stops to run and P&P. You all will have a fantastic time!! Enjoy!! Take lots and lots of pictures.

Sp cute! Have a fun trip. We took Agnes for her first overnight trip (to the beach) when she was 4 mo. She did very well w/o any accidents. In fact, I think it may have helped her to understand... inside = no potty, outside = potty. Either way, at least you'll have the nature's miracle to clean up any boo boos. Enjoy! Take lots of pictures!

Wow, he's really getting big! I think it's great that you're taking Atty with you on vacation. I plan on doing that with Gus and Molly, though we won't be going anywhere for another year. Have a great time!
