Groomer Praise

I just had to post something to say how much I love our groomer. Gus went in for his normal grooming appointment yesterday and I really expected him to end up having to be shaved. Well she call us and said that Gus was going to be longer than normal because of some bad mats. Well to my surprise when I went to pick him up he looked like this. She took the extra time to work out all the matting, because she didn't want to shave him since we are still having cooler temperatures outside. She's awsome. If there's anyone in the Washington DC area looking for a great groomer let me know and I'll give you her information.

I took Duke to Pet Smart this weekend and the girl did a fabulous job on him. His first hair cut, being only 6 months . I was able to watch from a distance once he was done with his bath and dried. Duke was calm and she knew how to cut him. Right next to him was a poodle, so I could see how much more work was involved. Although I think I paid a lot, I wasn't sure what the norm price is as far as for services.

I feel the same way about my groomer here in Riverside, California. She is worth her weight in gold!

I too recently found a wonderful groomer. I brought both my doodles to her and said do NOT shave anything. She spent 4 hrs on Yankee because he was matted. She did exactly as I asked and this is how they turned out.

Maybe we are finally starting to get groomers who understand what doodles should look like.
