Happy Birthday to Darwin!

Darwin is 4 years old today! I am always surprised how fast each year goes, but this year I'm really shocked. How can he be 4??

As we were taking him for a birthday romp yesterday, a group of neighborhood kids ran up to us in the street to say hi. They all loved him and fawned over him and Darwin enjoyed the attention. On the way back from our romp we heard calls and cheers of "Darwin, Darwin!" as we passed by like he was a celebrity. That made him really happy, his tail was wagging like crazy!

We decided that we would celebrate his birthday this weekend rather than today because Kate would be here visiting. We grilled, and he got a sirloin on some plain hamburger buns. YUM. :-)
