Happy Birthday to my Number One Guy!

Winnie the Pooh Winston is turning six years old. Yippee!

 

He is my sweet cuddly Pooh Bear and after almost a year of being together I don't know how I ever survived without him. His "adoptaversary" is coming up on September 18th! We have been through a lot together over the last year but through it all Winston has brought me so much joy, laughter and comfort. I truly think Winston was a blessing for me and Sophie Bear. Sophie loves her big brother and he loves back, patiently tolerating her constant playfulness and he sometimes even gives her a run for her money. :o)  His calm gentle ways and irresistible-kissable nose endear him to anyone he ever meets. There is no feeling in the world like wrapping my arms around him and burying my face and hands in his fur. I can only hope I have been able to make him as happy as he has made me.

 

  

This week-end I've rented a cottage on a lake to celebrate the occasion so the doodles can run and play on the beach and we can go hiking in the woods. I'm looking forward to getting away with my doodles, even though it means no access to DK ;-).

Happy Birthday Winston.  I remember the day your Mom brought you home.  You have grown into such a handsome and happy boy since that day.  You can just see what all her love has done to you. Your coat is beautiful and that nose in the picture above is just crying out to be kissed.  I think you could be a runner up to Jackdoodle and his nose!  Hugs and kisses sweet boy!  Have a wonderful time with your sister at the cabin.
