Hey Guys I Found a Way of Keeping My Parents Home With Me on Friday Nights!!!!!

All right...so maybe I'm in a little trouble...but Mom & Dad are staying home with ME tonite!!!!!

I have my parents totally trained! (ALMOST!) They always put their shoes away in the closet, they don't leave important papers (like their bills and stuff) laying around and they keep yummies way back on the kitchen counters. BUT....for some reason my Dad insists on keeping his money on his bedside table. Doesn't he know I just CAN'T resist???? This is what's left of what he left there today.......Mom's bummin' cuz' she said Dad was taking her out for dinner tonite. Wouldn't she rather stay home with me???!!!!

I laughed and laughed at this photo! I had a dachshund up until about 6 months ago when sadly she passed away. I had three dogs, and it is a long story on how three dogs joined this household- two young doodles and one older persnickety dachshund. The dachshund loved to steal money out of your wallet. In fact she loved to steal anything that belonged to you and was of value - photo ids, car keys, money, etc. She never chewed though. She just liked to hide your things from you.

Banjo..... you are awesome dood! What a great idea for keeping you DM and DD around for the night. I might have to try that.... although, my mom also puts her bills in a purse and she hangs it on a hook at the top of the door. Maybe one day she will slip up and then I can get in there!

Good thought!!! Our mom and dad never leave money down but we do like to check around to see what fun things we can do to entice them to stay home. Recently, we checked out the bathroom trash and it was lots of fun. Our mom even got down on the floor to play in the trash with us. We are thinking of trying for the kitchen trash next Friday night.
