Wanted to say hello to everybody on this website!!! I have loved reading everybodys posts and looking at your beautiful doodles!! My boyfriend and I are eagerly waiting to pick up Riley on Thursday. She will be 8 weeks old. Check out our pictures.... doesnt she seem small for 7 weeks? (compared to many of your pics)

 

We have all of her toys....blanky.. a crate... a cat George who is excited to meet her and two parents who are very excited yet slightly nervous that we will do something wrong!!

 

I look forward to sharing stories with all of you, and hopefully getting some advice : )

How exciting that you are finally picking up your new puppy.  You are going to love being a Doodle Mom!!!  Be sure to sign up for all the groups.  Puppy Madness is one you will want to join for sure...ha ha.  Is Riley a mini or a standard GoldenDoodle?  I have a very tall standard and she is such a love.  I bet we see you on DoodleKisses a lot in the near future.  It is addicting so watch out!!!!  Congratulations too!

Hi Amanda, welcome. How big do you expect Riley to be when full grown? Try to keep track of her weight at around 16 weeks, as the formula that I have seen work pretty well is that weight at 4 months, doubled, and +/- 10 pds.

I have an Irish boy Riley who is a total love bug.  I am sure yours will be just as gorgeous.  It's hard to tell at that age because even if they are small at eight weeks (they are competing for food) they can sure make up for it pretty quickly when you get them home : )
