Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
Giselle is a young Maltese who has had a hard life. She was tied in a yard by her first owners and the cord she was tied with became embedded in her neck. Then she was placed in a shelter where she was attacked by bigger aggressive dogs. The poor girl was petrified of people when we got her and was also totally scared of other dogs.
Enter Holly... Giselle has been with us less than two weeks and we just saw her out in the iceplant (Holly's favorite place to sleep) and she was sleepng next to Holly. They both woke up when I opened the door to shoot the picture.
Holly wins another Olympic medal - it never takes her more than two weeks (usually a lot less) to make friends with the most terrified Maltese.
And yes, Giselle is doing better with people too! She jumped up into our bed last might.

Holly is truly a hero, and so are you!
Imagine keeping a sweet, tiny little dog like that tied up in a yard! What is wrong with people????? I am so glad Giselle is now in a safe caring place and has a chance for a wonderful life.
Such a wonderful story of redemption. What a lot of love you and Holly have to share.
You guys are great, human and canine!!!
Holly is very special!
I think Holly is the most wonderful dog. Thank you again for helping these wounded animals and showing them that there are kind and loving people in this world!!
