Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
All doodle owners seem fortunate that our doodles don't usually have a doggy odor and Holly is certainly free of such smells; except when we were visiting Texas and she rolled in deer poop on my sister-in-law's front lawn. She was covered in a green smelly slime. But, that's another story.
We usually send Holly to the doggy beauty parlor every couple of months and during the summer never have to bathe her between visits because she is in and out of our pool every day and a spray with the garden hose removes the chlorinated pool water from her coat.
However, during the winter, we often need to wash her between appointments at her groomer. Today, we took advantage of the 70 degree weather and Judy took Holly into our walk-in shower and bathed her. I waited outside with a couple of towels to begin the drying process. Then it was up on the grooming table for a blow dry and some between groomers trim.
She is all ready for the Superbowl party...
