Hope & I are getting better

Just wanted to let all your awesome supporters Hope is doing better. As in, I am giving her 'time out' when she starts the biting, nipping, etc. Sometimes it is difficult to capture her before I get bit but I am hoping she is starting to understand! We do many of the suggestions that have been given to me including the freezer wash cloth which is such a help! Also, restricting her to certain areas not allowing her to run about the entire house & outside areas has also helped. I still only kennel her at night and, on some of her timeouts. All of my ranching experiences with dogs did not help at all-this was/is an entirely new learning experience.

That's great!  It does get better with time.  I think all us new puppy owners start to panic when our innocent babies start gnawing on us like piranhas.  It is a little scary not knowing if it will ever end...Reading DK helps me realize that these stages are just that and everything will work out in the end and we'll all have the best dogs on the planet!
