How to open a UPS box

Grendel, daughter's dog, is visiting for a while, and when a UPS package arrived, he grabbed it and opened it for her.  It was hilarious, and he didn't touch the shoes inside!  I was so amused I forgot all about trying to get pictures or videos until some time in the aftermath.  Now, this might not be something you would want your dog to do, but Gren would have stopped anytime if told to.  He just loves to open boxes!  Trav was fascinated too, and learned from his bro.  He sort of delicately tore a couple of pieces off the box, but he seemed to think it wasn't something he was really supposed to be doing.

Wow, Gren did an amazingly thorough job!!! I'll bet he really enjoyed himself!  As for Trav...best to let sleeping dogs lie...:)

Ha!  Returning the shoes would be a real problem!  Gren is soooo strong...he grabbed that box and tossed it way up in the air, then put one foot on it and ripped it to shreds.  I guess we can't give him boxes to open that contain fragile things.  :)

I love this. Our Clumber Spaniel used to love to shred boxes so at Christmas he would be given every box that was opened. It was his own special Christmas celebration!

I wonder if Grendel could reconstruct the box if the shoes don't fit and they have to be sent back?  :-}
