Howloween and Dogtoberfest

Well Duncan is down for the count. We started the day at 11:30am to head to a doggie costume parade in our local park....He didn't win but enjoyed seeing some of his friends. The costume part he wasn't thrilled about (he was a Sheriff) but he was a real sport and kept the hat on long enough for me to snap some pics. Then it was straight to Dogtoberfest which is an annual event my dog walking company sponsors at our local beer garden. Yes! an outdoor beer garden where the dogs have biscuits and water while the humans have burgers and beer! They even had a "bobbing for weiners" bowl. Duncan won "best stage presence" at their costume parade. How funny. Anyway, here are a few snaps. The prisoner is duncan's pal from the dog park.

Looks like so much fun.  Love the bobbing for weiners!  Look at how the "stage" people are loving Duncan.  No wonder he won best stage presence.  The outdoor beer/dog fest sounds like my kinda thing!  Better check out and see if there are any doggie/beerfests happening in my town.
