I am so in LOVE!!

I am so in love with this dog...that sometimes, I want to burst!! He is so cute, adorable and yes, he can be a pain, but I feel all his good traits outweigh the pain in the butt things he does.

I found out yesterday that the breeder that I got Samson from is having another litter to be born on January 30th!!! She lives nearby so I hope I can go and visit the new puppies. I think she has a waiting list. Samson was from her first litter ever. She had never bred Labradoodles before so Samson is from her first litter.

I hope they are all healthy!!!

I agree with Lucy & Sophies Mom, a 2nd puppy won't cure puppy- itis. Especially if the current puppy is a doodle. All doodle puppies should come with a surgeon general's warning 'Studies have shown Doodle Kisses are addictive and may result the need to have just one more dood...'

Chimming in, in agreement! Amazing how the bonding process goes both ways with these dogs. We adore Toby and he does us - what a BEAUTIFUL thing!! There is nothing like "doodle love"!!

I completely agree, Ann. There is something different about Doodles. We've had three wonderful dogs in the past, and I loved them all. They were much more aloof than Guinness who also follows me everywhere. They were no where near as affectionate either. Guinness is so intuitive...he just seems to know what I'm thinking and wants to please me more than any other dog I've had. They are just so awesome!

Isn't it crazy?? I also had other dogs. My Odie, chocolate lab, I loved sooo much too, but not the same. This dog is very "human" like. He follows me where ever I go in the house, waits for me if I'm in the bathroom (LOL). Odie didn't do that. I very much bonded with this dog.

Here is my advice ...... getting a 2nd puppy won't cure that need for another puppy! You will just want a third. We have 2 girls, and I'm constantly saying I have to stop looking at puppies or I'm going to end up with a third and I know that I can't handle another! That being said though, I'm right there with you. It is so hard to explain the love that I feel for these two girls. I've had dogs before, a small toy poodle for the 1st 16 years we were married, and although I loved her, it for some reason just wasn't the same. I always tell my DH "I can literally feel them in my heart"!

OMG, I think we are sick with Doodle love!!! LOL, people must think I'm nuts because I talk so much about this dog, and I take pictures and movies of him constantly!

I SO know how you feel! Hudson is the best dog we have ever had, and I've wanted another Doodle ever since we got him last Christmas! His breeder had a repeat breeding of his mom and dad, and I keep checking her site to see the updated photos- there are two left. I know I shouldn't keep peeking, but it is so hard not too! Doodles are definitely addictive!

I know that I have to avoid looking at Doodle puppies at all costs. It would be all over for me, especially if they were in the area. I keep going to my breeder's website, and I see that there will be new puppies. I know that I can't look at them (even online) or Guinness will be getting a little brother or sister. I have absolutely no will power when it comes to Doodle puppies. I would obsess all day and dream of them all night.
