If the Boston Bruins win the Stanley cup!! (doodle related)

My DH is a huge Boston Bruins fan.  We (or should I say I)  have been discussing adding another doodle to the house : )

Well, DH's Bruins were not playing all that great so when the subject came up again... his statement was..." Ok fine, if the Boston Bruins win the Stanley Cup, we will get another doodle"...

Well guess what...last night they won the series against Pittsburg and they are in the Stanley Cup finals...Sooooooo, we are 4 games away from adding another doodle to our pack.  We both want a black male and maybe call him Bruin for obvious reasons or maybe Tuuka or Neeley...both Bruins players either current or retired!

Once, In Pittsburgh, I was showing my British Blue Cat, Mario.   Everyone in Pittsburgh kept asking me if he was named after Mario Lemieux, the famous hockey player, because if he was, they all wanted to root for him to win.  I finally started saying, Yes.  But really, he was named after Super Mario, the game.   Mario won 1st place.

I have a good feeling about this now.

Elizabeth, I am NOT a hockey fan at all, but for you I will be cheering for the Bruins to win the Stanley Cup.  Gee, maybe I could make the same bet with my husband!  Doesn't look good for me since my DH is a King's fan, darn it and they are not looking too hot right now!  Anyway, I will be pulling for your "Doodle/Bruins"!  Lucky you, I'm jealous:)

That's hilarious!  Of course we're Vancouver Canucks fans (living in BC) but after they were eliminated we were cheering for Pittsburg as my husband was in a hockey pool at work and drew Pittsburg - we were kind of bummed last night when they were eliminated BUT now it's worth it if brings you that much closer to getting another doodle!  I will happily cheer for the Bruins now!  Go Bruins Go!!!!!
