I'm a proud doodle mom!

My DH and I were involved in a charity walk yesterday and we decided to bring Clifford and Cloud with us even though the weather was chilly and rainy.  They were such good boys!  I can't even begin to count the number of people that came up and petted them - including children (some in wheelchairs or using rolling walkers) - and they were perfect with each and every one of them; not once did they pull away or jump up.  We spent over two hours at the event and they were calm and friendly the entire time (even though they didn't think it was fair they didn't get any pizza and those kids were carrying it right at their level).  Balloons popping, magic tricks and kids carrying balloon swords did not faze them .  There was a photographer at the event so I hope I can get some of the pictures.  I spent the day with a big smile and tons of pride in the golden boys.

Just read your blog and am wondering --- is your Clifford "Mr. May" on the DK calendar??  I look at his beautiful face everyday and just smile.  Can't even count the number of people who comment on him!

Oh I am glad they were so well behaved.:) It seems that doodles are very versatile and they adjust easily. We take Huff into stores all the time and he just acts like it is a second home:) haha Huff does pull though. He pulls when we walk him through stores but he doesn't jump on anybody unless he knows that they are okay with it.:)
