I'm walking down the street with my Nikes on

Benny stepped the other day into something (probably glass) and cut the skin between his toes on one of his webbed feet.
The wound got infected and he kept licking on it, so the vet decided that he needs to wear a shoe to protect the wound.
As I am working for the company with the swoosh all my colleagues started making jokes that Benny is the only one in the family who has to wear "no name" brand shoes and that it is not fair.
Therefore I decided to pimp Benny's shoe and get him his own Nikes.
And here is the result:

I LOVE it and appreciate it!
Murphy cut his foot pad last September. He has huge feet and ended up with 5 staples across the gash. And they SLOWLY told me how long it would take for the pad to heal (8 weeks). Not like skin at all.
I bought the first bootie things from Petsmart but they didn't work. The vet order a "Therapaw" for us..neoprene..kinda like a wet suit ...then velcro. The extra large barely fit.

The Nike+ idea is great. I will think about it together with product development haha. In the meantime I can tape my sensor onto his shoe, will only need to find headphones for Benny. I have already a funny picture in my head how that would like haha. Benny in running tights and listening to my IPod rofl.

Very nice! You should somehow put the Nike+ system in there so that Benny can use an iPod nano to track how far he walks. And listen to his favorite music, of course.
