Introducing our new Goldendoodle Puppy, Bella.

We adopted a new Goldendoodle puppy named Bella.  I found her advertised on line for rehoming.  The owner was moving and they were only permitted one pet in their new residence.  Since they already had a 4 year old Goldendoodle, they needed to rehome their 15 week old Goldendoodle.  I couldn't believe my good fortune.  After losing our Goldendoodle, Champ, after almost 17 years, our home was so empty and lonely.  After several e-mail communications with Bella's owner, we made arrangements to meet so that we could see if Scooby and Bella would get along.  Everything would be determined based on whether the two dogs meshed.  All went well.  Bella saw Scooby and jumped all over him kissing him.   Scooby played it cool and acted as though he wasn't all that impressed, but he let her do all that smooching and didn't get the least bit upset.  We took her home with us that day.

Bella's owner was happy to have Bella in a home with an experienced doodle owner, and even more pleased that we had another doodle.   Bella and Scooby have been fast friends ever since.  Obviously,Bella is a puppy and she's a handfull.... so much energy, but she's learning.   Our house is definitely no longer "lonely", although we still miss our Champ.  Bella came into our home and acted like she had always lived there.  Our family is complete once again now that we have a second doodle, our Bella Doodle.   I'll be posting new photos soon!

Aw, what a great story. I can't wait to see pictures of her and Scooby. Interesting how when some doors close, other ones open. It was meant to be.

I am so happy for you and for Bella finding the perfect family to love. I am sorry about you losing Champ. It is hard no matter what the circumstances to say good-by. Best of luck to your complete family.

Isn't that wonderful!! And what luck you had!! Have a great time with Bella!

I am amazed that Champ live 17 years--wow--there weren't even that many goldendoodles around when he was born--wow! Sorry for your loss but happy that you now can move on with your new pup--and it sounds like Scooby is thrilled too--he is just too cool to show it--wouldn't want the puppy to get a swelled head!
