I've tossed this idea around a lot...not sure if the timing was right, etc. Was I ready? Could Clark handle it? Is there really a need for another breeder? What generation I should I breed? You know the usual issues.

But having passed some critical milestones, I wanted to share that it's now official...

Who's ready for some photos of my new 13 week old addition?

Are you?

Totally sure?

Okay...here it is!

Look at this huge head...totally takes after Daddy!

I'm calling this hybrid a "Clarkinapoo" -- what do you think?

13 weeks down...27 or so to go! My youngest sister has already named it "Bella Swan" =)

Adina and Clark,

Congratulations!!! As everyone has said, your life is about to change, for the better. But, no matter how many of us tell you this, you really won't comprehend until your baby is born. So are you going to have a poll as to gender? I just think of this little one as a boy, as I see others are doing. Baby names could be hard. You have too many people and dogs to compare to on this site. What a joyous occasion during such a sad time in your life. This little one maybe the glue that keeps you grounded at this time.

One last thing, my husband Dirk always said that the first 6 months after birth are the honeymoon months. A little like a dog except more soooo on the dependency scale, however, baby will be portable. You can take him to restaurants and leaving him in the pumpkin seat he can quietly sleep while you enjoy your evening out. Once they are sitting alone and eating food all of your focus will be on him and no longer your spouse!!! Best of luck and prayers for a stress free 27 weeks. Betsy

Adina & Clark,

There are many things to look forward to; that sweet baby smell, singing soft lullabies, baby coos and smiles, blankies & teddy bears and a whole lifetime of love & magic & dreams come true. I am so happy for you.

Enjoy every moment of your pregnancy and just wait until you feel your baby dance under your heart.

Adina and Clark, Get ready for the best ride of your life!! BTW-I have ultrasound pictures of my two boys and I still can't figure out which side was their head. For instance in your picture one I see a cute liitle fetus relaxing and floating around in mommy's womb, then the second picture. he(can't help the boy thing) is all curled up with a teddy bear, then the third I see him (again the male thing) in a frontal pic with his legs open and I'm lookin for a you know what. LOL Did I read any of these right? Doesn't matter-just take care of yourself. This is so exciting!!
