I've Seen Everything!

Well, Yankee and I went to the dog park this morning and I couldn't believe what I saw. There was a man walking his goat.....yes, a goat. It was on a leash and at first the dogs didn't seem to notice it until he stopped. Then a few dogs went cautiously over to try and get close enough to sniff it. It would move and they would all jump back including Yankee who gets scared by his own shadow. Then a couple of dogs tried again and it moved. They jumped back again. It was very amusing to watch.

I overheard the big burly man walking the goat say that it was a rescue (LMAO) and it's name was Bubbles. (ROFL)

I may be wrong-but don't goats kick with their rear legs?? I think it is goats isn't it? So Yankee and the other dogs may have been smart to back off!! Cute story. Just another day at the dog park!

Never seen a goat at our park but we have had a pot belly pig...she got along really well with the dogs, and when the dogs would bark..she would squeal...they had their own doggy park music.

That is hilarious! My parents have neighbors who have goats, and they have these elaborate play houses for them. It's so funny when we go visit them and go for a walk and the goats will have climbed to the roofs of the houses and are bleating away.
