I have to tell you guys, Bernie gets extremely excited every time I decide to buckle down and do my ab exercises on my work out ball.

Now I know some people read 'ball' and think "oh, big bouncy ball, of course he gets excited!" But the ab ball is always out (unless we're having company over) because I tend to use it more often if it stares at me.

I wish I had a video! He barks, jumps, climbs on me, mouths me, runs a lap around the room and then uses me as a launching bad! That move actually hurts. I've gotten to the point where I have to tether him or put him in another room, but made the mistake of giving him the chance to just watch patiently today - not so much.

Does anyone else experience this, or do your Doodles have their own version of misdirected jealousy towards inanimate objects?!

Rosey loves the Wii too, not so much the bowling but when we played baseball she wanted to go get that ball!!

Perfect timing! I've just turned my usually quiet dog into a raving maniac by trying to make enough noise to scare the squirrels out of the attic. Banging pan lids, blowing a whistle, all while Trav barks dementedly and jumps up on me (a big no-no.) All I have to do now is point up and say 'squirrels' and he goes crazy. And it would have been so easy to just boost him up into the attic so he could take care of squirrels himself. (Ha!! He'd love that, at least until he fell through the ceiling.)

Hunter goes after the broom and the vacume cleaner. She jumps around at the barks, then runs laps around and comes back and does it all over again! Lately I have made sure she was outside befor I brought them out - its pretty comical. I know I should exercise but welll I just don't LOL

I bring out my yoga mat and do stretches and abwork...Peri thinks it is a game and runs around me, over me, licks me, etc...it's hilarious.....

I actually had Callie give me a bloody nose while I was doing mat pilates! Now the mat is put away and I bought a pilates machine to keep me off the floor. Well...it has actually been gathering dust and my pants are tight. Hmm.

Lifting weights is always a bit more challenging for me when a big doodlehead is standing over me giving me kisses on my face! I know he thinks he's helping and I don't want to hurt Clifford's feelings so I just let him help me until he gets bored - which is fortunately pretty quick or I'd be a squishy doodle mom!

Yep, every morning my DH gets on his ball and Gracie comes running. He stretches and tries to do sit ups all the while having his face licked. Another thing is the chin up bar in the patio. Gracie will be in bed sound asleep with me and my DH will quietly open the sliding door in the kitchen to go outside for chin ups. By the time he is ready for his first pull, Gracie is there butting him and dancing around him. No matter how quietly he tries to open that door, she hears it and bolts off the bed!! Or how about when he goes into the "reading room" with the newspaper? That is Gracie's sign to go in with him and try to put her head in his lap for a scratch. Eventually she just stretches out on the bathroom floor and waits for him!!! Gotta love these Doodles. They sure keep us laughing!

Deanna, that's great! Bernie gets excited when I dance too, but I'm not any good, so I always figured it's his way of telling me to stop =)

Haha, well whether or not they're brag worthy is up for debate! But that is funny you mentioned laying on the ground Suzann, because Bern's not that way when I simply get on the floor with him, but put the ball in the mix and it's a circus!

Oh Gosh I am jealous you even try this with your one doodle. I can't imagine trying this with R&B. Everytime I just lay on the ground they think it is a puppy pile up party. Needless to say I have no abs to brag about!!
