Lilly 10 months

It seems like forever since I have been on Doodlekisses. The cottage has been all consuming and I am busy making a prayer shawl for a friend of a friend that has cancer.

This time last year,I was buying puppy things like they were going to quit making them and looking forward to our little bundle of fur.  As I write this, Lilly is sleeping next to me on top of her stuffingless fox that is all but a rag. She has distroyed all her wonderful toys. She can find the squeeker and pull it out in less than 10 minutes. Tennis balls that use to be tossed and brought back are now ripped apart and discarded like a teenager that tries on 5 pairs of jeans and throws them on the floor before leaving the house in the morning for school.

We have to spell in front of her since she knows so many words. If we say "Let's go for a walk after dinner" She is in our face barking and ready to go right.this.minute. Her other words are; chicken, treat, banana, outside, go, night night, daddy's home, leash, ball, rope, fox.  There may be others, but that is all I can think of.

She weighs a little over 15 lbs after her summer hair cut yesterday.

Welcome back! How kind of you to make a prayer shall for your friend. I hope she recovers quickly and completely. Your little Lily sounds like a smart and feisty girl.

I was wondering where you all were!  Glad to hear all is going well.  Sounds like Lilly is a smart little girl!  Doesn't the time fly by?
