Lucy the Imposter

Hi folks - Lady Peri here!!!!!! It's been an interesting week. On Tuesday morning very very early (before that beeping noise goes off), gran and grandad showed up and guess who they dropped off? Lucy, my cairn terrier friend, who mom says is my "aunt". WTD?

Anywho, we have been getting lots of walks and mom sometimes seems frustrated because she walks me, Tacky and Lucy all at one time. I love it though because we get to prance around and because we can throw her off balance and get tangled up and its sooo funny!

Also, we have been getting cooked carrots or beans on our food every morning AND night! I heard dad ask mom why she was doing this and nudged him to stop. WTD? Don't question mom!!!!!! I love it I love it I love it! But mom said it is because we all eat different foods and this keeps us from "grazing". WTD? Anyway, I LOVE the food.

The only bad thing is, Lucy has been stealing my bed. Mom brought out my old one for her to sleep on but NO she always beats me to MY bed and it really makes me mad. I just huff and puff and go to my old bed. Take a look at Lucy the imposter of my bed. Luv Lady Peri

Gee thanks friends :) I am at daycare today and the imposter is gone. Apparantly I get to stay here for the weekend - yeah dood!!! Pawtee with my bffs. Lucy and tacky went to stay with gran and gramps while they go to some place where people get married?!

Hi Lady Peri. Silly Lucy the imposter.... it is clear from the photo that she is in the wrong bed - that is your bed.... it is way to big for her! Tonight... pretend you are sleepy early and get to your bed first....that will teach her!

Hey, Lady Peri...Gracie Doodle here. I agree with you 100% about the interloper taking over your bed. We had the 6 month old GD across the street spend the night here and when she jumped up on my mom and dad's bed where I sleep, I just loomed up to my tallest height (I am 27" at the shoulders) and growled her right off. Later though I let her sleep there for a little while...way down at the foot of the bed in the corner (secretly hoping she would fall off in her sleep...ha ha). Anyway, my cousin Luna the Rhodesian Ridgeback is coming down for Christmas and she and I are very good about sharing beds and sleeping together. We both are so big that we use human beds!!!! I have been up to her house twice (going again for Thanksgiving) and she has been here twice but she was still a pup. My philosophy is that we need to give our guests some slack because the tables could turn on us and we could be sent to THEIR house to stay without our parents. I do like the suggestion from the others about just curling up on her in your bed. Just move in and see if she leaves or not.

Hey, Lady Peri, that imposter looks pretty small. I'll bet you could take her with one paw tied behind your back! Or does your mom have those dumb rules about sharing your things and being polite to guests? I hate those rules! At least you're getting lots of goodies...that's one perk of having an intruder guest at your house.
I hope Lucy the imposter goes home soon so you can have your bed back. She's cute, but she's no doodle!
