Me and my shadow are not feeling blue at all. My shadow follows me where ever I go, even if it from room to another then back again. My shadow sleeps on a floor pillow on my side of the bed. Every morning when the alarm clock chimes my shadow puts his front feet on the bed to greet me with morning kisses and a tail wag. The only time he doesn't follow me is when he is romping with Harlow or chasing the tennis balls Frannie gave us.
F Scott has come a long way from the frightened dog that joined our pack almost a month ago. He is still shy to meet people and I need to do a better job of taking him for walks. It has been 5 days since he was snipped and chipped. He was very good not bothering his incision and he didn't have to wear the cone of shame. He had very little discomfort and I had a tough time keeping him quiet the first couple of days.
We are going to do the dog park tomorrow. I am curious how he will do with the people we meet there. He loves other dogs and wasn't shy with Frannie last week. As Frannie said Scott thought she was part of the pack. Maybe he will do the same at the dog park. We will keep you updated on how the adventure goes.
UPDATE:
Scottie did very well at the dog park yesterday. He completely loved playing with the other dogs and he even shyly greeted people on his own. A few lucky folks even got tiny kisses. It was an over all good experience for him.
