Murphy goes for radiation tomorrow

Murphy and I are heading to the LSU vet school tomorrow for his radiation treatment.  Since he will be sedated, I hope they can staple his leg back together. He has made such a mess of it.

When I was at the L'Oreal Because Your Dog Is Worth It Too day, we did the 'lick the strip and get a tee shirt'. Well, if this doesn't stop anyone from licking then nothing will.You had to literally lick the strip, they gave you a bottle of water and a T shirt. UGH!

I hope this works for Murhpy.

Thanks everyone!     We are back. It was a long day, but just waiting for me.

The radiation treatment went well. She treated a few more places, but said she was not concerned because they were smooth. (hear that, Ginny and Mattie).

His leg is another issue. It is still clean and healthy...and open.  She wants our vet to close it again (more money) and  have him stay there during the day and I will sedate him at night. F., I did ask that question, so we will see. He has been on cipro for 2 weeks now.

To confirm what a lunatic he is, they had him in a run with a cone and he still managed to chew part of the bandage off and eat it. The oncology resident was really upset but I assured her he had eaten much worse and bigger things.
