My Best Maltese Friend Passed

Her name was Mama Mia and she was my constant and loyal companion for over 13-years who developed a brain lesion very suddenly. She could not stand, foamed at the mouth and did not recognize me! Thankfully she didn't have to suffer long. Judy and I were with her as our vet put her out of her misery.

It's a great loss but, I look around and our rescue dogs and think about all the other dogs we have saved and that seems to make Mama Mia's loss just a tiny bit easier. NOT EASY BY ANY STRETCH, just a BIT easier...

I still have my Holly as well as some of our other personal dogs.

BTW: please make sure that all of you have at least one good picture of any dog or person that you love!

So sorry to hear this sad news.  I am sending hugs to you and Judy.  You do such wonderful work. Her picture is so special, what a cutie pie!  I hope all the sweet memories of better times helps to ease your loss soon.
