Here is a link the Hope For Paws Flicker Album on saving Pepsi and Cola. They are two young poodles who were heroically rescued by Eldad Hagar of Hope For Paws. Pepsi and his sister, Cola, were living in a sewer tunnel under 14 lanes of Los Angeles freeway traffic.

Pepsi and Cola are now nicely groomed, healthy and happy and living in our home as fosters. They are absolutely darling dogs and are enjoying being clean, well fed and having a big yard in which to play.

Here is a link to some video of Pepsi and Cola as they wait for Judy to feed our chickens and then play with her in our yard.  They are now clean, happy and well adjusted young dogs.

We will be placing these dogs for adoption as a bonded pair. We will not split them up after all they have been through!

Thanks to Hope For Paws for saving these darling young dogs...

CNN asked for permission to use my images of Pepsi and Cola.  I said sure, but please credit Maltese Rescue California!  I don't know when or even if the segment will be shown.  Soft news like this is often at the mercy of hard news which takes precedence,.

I just saw Pepsi and Cola's story on the Daily Mail. If I am not mistaken, that is Judy in there also. Such a heartwarming story. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3217421/Heartwarming-moment...

EXCITING NEWS!  I just received an email from Hope for Paws that CNN will be contacting me to do a story on Pepsi and Cola.  I can't wait to see the email from CNN.  I will keep you updated!

Thank you for the donation!  Don't worry about Pepsi and Cola ever being split up.  They will live (happily) with us until we can find them a furever family who will want to love both of these dogs.

I just watched the video on Facebook and made a donation. I am so glad there are such wonderful people out there, like you and your wife, to help these dogs. I hope they find the best home together.
