I thought I would write a blog post and let everyone know what is going on with Abel. Abel is now two weeks shy of being four months old. He is fully house broken as far as we can tell. He sleeps through the night and goes to the door when he wants outside. He just needs to start barking so we know he is there! It was my goal to bell train him when he was younger but I kept forgetting to ding the bell. He is still not the best in the yard alone. If I leave him out there alone, even for a minute, we will chew/dig up all our decorative bark. Does anyone know how to stop this? I don't think it is bordem cause it is after only minutes. So har he know how to sit and shake a paw. We are working on the come/stay commands. He is still very excitable and easily discracted. We also make him sit before he crosses the street. Abel and the cat are doing okay. For the most part they just ignore eachother and other times they want to play. The problem is I think the cat only wants to play so he can swat Abel in the face then laugh. He is a prett evil cat. On Thursday Abel gets neutered. They are doing this early because we are getting one of his baby canines removed as well. It is coming in crooked so they are hoping by doing this it will allow the adult tooth to come in straight. Keeping our fingers crossed!
Tip of the day: Don't let a bearded dog lick out a ravaoli bowl!
