Ollie had his first ever professional grooming yesterday at Petsmart. I was a little apprehensive because I've heard it can go either way in those places. I told the groomer that I did not want him short and no shaving nose/muzzle area.

The groomer was really friendly and sweet and did a wonderful job. She was very sensitive to the fact that it was his first time ever at a groomer. He came out looking handsome and clean and happy. I can actually see his beautiful eyes now.

He smells like fresh laundry and is so incredibly soft that I cant stop hugging and kissing him! I think my face is going to be buried in his fur the rest of the week :-).  I can't believe what a difference a professional grooming makes. Here he is post grooming...

He looks gorgeous. Calla was rejected at Petco yesterday. I took her in just for a bath having trimmed, dematted , cleaned ears and cut nails the day before. They claimed she was matted and would need to be shaved. I took her home unbathed. It is very hard to get a comb through her fur since her fur is so thick.
