I was SO excited when I found out that I won the Les Poochs brush in the Pet Flow contest! I have been wanting one for so long but honestly I've never been able to justify the cost. It was exactly the prize I would choose to win, I can't even say how happy I was.

It came in the mail from Kemp (thanks for the advice on which brush Kemp!!) and I immediately took it out and started brushing Darwin. I was skeptical that it would be that much better than our current slicker (15 dollar MGT) but it was WAAAAY better. It literally took me half as much time and got all the way down to the skin, no trouble getting through the matts! With my old brush I'd have to go through 2 or 3 times, and use a fine toothed comb. This got all of those, easily, and so easy to get through them! Darwin had no issue whatsoever with the brush. I am just so over the moon that I finally have one, it's going to make brushing so much easier. Yay!

I did some comparison shots of his old brush and the new Les Poochs. Excuse the hair in the Les Poochs, I forgot to clean it out before I took the photos. :-)

the MGT, notice the short bristles.

And the Les Poochs. Look at those lovely long tines and double width. Sigh, I think I'm in love. LOL

Congrats on your win! Wow that's a biggie! We have one for Myla and her groomer likes it when I bring it for her brush out-saves lots of time!

The better the tools, the better the result!!!! :-} Congratulations on your win.  Ned takes a long time to brush but the result is much better with the LesPoochs brand brush.

Donna, it's possible that the difference isn't discernible to anyone else he he, it's more of a no mats under the fur type thing. Plus that wasn't the best photo since he had been in a dog park. LOL. I am going to take a nice portrait of him soon showing off his long hair. If he will cooperate. :-)

He does look great but then he always does but a brush that makes life easier is definitely a good thing.

Donna here is a picture of his new fluffy do. Keep in mind that this is 20 minutes after running into a muddy dog park, so his beard is not the best. LOL. I will take a picture with his full on primped look later.

Couldn't have gone to a better person! Does this mean Darwin will even look better than usual? Not possible, he is already a gorgeous doodle.
