My new favourite toy - The FRISBEE

[Kimmy & Chewie]

A few weeks ago, I bought a frisbee to play with Chewie.

After a bit of a rocky start, he's now getting the hang of it and is able to catch it in mid-air. It's really fun and we both have a great time!! I think that doodles are incredibly agile and athletic. My previous dog was a golden retriever and he was not able to catch a frisbee to save himself.

DH and I still needs to practice on our throws though 'coz we're still not able to consistently throw it in a straight line.

Everytime the frisbee goes off course or gets stuck on some bushes, Chewie gives us a dirty look as if to say "How do you expect me to get THAT?!" DH sometimes blame it on the wind or fact that it's a soft frisbee rather than a hard plastic one. (sign) Men!!

Sadie's all time favourite toy is her frisbee.She walks around with it in her mouth ..... just in case some one will throw it for her even when she is inside. If you can find and ORCA frisbee they really are the best they are indestructible and they also float.Sadie is a water doodle as well.

Chewie... that looks like fun.  My mom gave me a frisbee once when I was a pup - we got it at a local doggie event... and I chewed a big chunk out of it.  Seeing how much fun you are having makes me want to try frisbee again!

Aww, he's a cutie! The frisbee is one of Wheeler's favorite toys! It took him a little to get use to it also but now he's a pro & loves it! That's one of his "special" toys, we have to keep it hidden until play time! Santa brought him a lighted frisbee for Christmas, which he loves! With it getting so dark so early, it's really nice to use that! We've tried turning the lights on around his fence, but they seem to blind him & he can't see his frisbee, but with the lights off, he can track the lighted one perfectly! Have fun!

Great pictures.  Haley likes catching a frisbee but it is so windy where we live that we had to switch to a ball for him using a Kong Rocket to throw the ball.  I never could get consistent with the frisbee even on still days.
