Nola had her two pups yesterday--both 13 ounces and delivered by C section (vet recommended it, since they seemed big for her dainty 30 pound frame) Mom and pups are doing very well. Two more boys (Lyric had 5 boys)!! The black one has a big white star on his chest. Very cute. Nola is pretty darn cute, too! More later!

Nola is fine! I wish I had bounced back from my three C sections like she has. She seems perfectly comfortable--I just have to watch that she doesn't get mastitis from having only two pups to feed and too much milk produced.

She is a real cutie and sooo sweet. Despite all she had been through yesterday, she still wanted to give us kisses--what a trooper. I am enjoying this as much as I can but I also have Rio and Rafi from Lyric's litter who are now 13 weeks old and need a lot of attention! Rafi has been here a week or so while his mommy helps her son out with a medical issue. I have to divide my time up so that they do not get neglected. And poor Lyric and Mattie are not seeing much of me either! I want to be sure not to miss this crucial time with the older puppies, though. It is a pretty busy time--but fun!
