Now Clifford is sick, WTD is going on with our doodles?

Clifford has been a little "off" since last weekend. I took him to the vet on Tuesday because he seemed to be dripping occasionally, an uncommon occurrence for boy dogs unless they have stones (which he is pretty young to have). Vet ran a catheter in and didn't find any stones and his urinalysis came back fine so she said to watch him and give him some meds if it continued. Of course it seemed to stop immediately after I brought him home but then he developed a runny nose so we thought maybe he just had a cold. This was followed by runs of another sort and watching him continually trying to go potty was very sad. We just got back from a ride in the car, during which he acted normal, until he went into the back yard and tossed his cookies. He never gets car sick so I don't know how it could be from the car ride. We'll watch him when he goes out and give him a bland dinner to settle his tummy and hopefully he'll be back to good health soon. He won't like missing out on his dessert - he's going to think I put him on a diet like Murphy!

We were at the Vet with Lucy yesterday as well ...... just an simple ear infection here though. She is already feeling much better! Hope everyone else is on the road to recovery!

I'm feeling kind of lazy today and my nose is still running. Mom keeps trying to wipe it with a kleenex but all I want to do is eat it! My breakfast stayed in so that's good, at least I'm not starving...although I didn't get any steak yet; maybe when they go to Costco this morning. I don't think they are sneaking me any pills, I'm too good at sleuthing them out and spitting them on the floor and keeping the treat they came in.

Hey Clifford. How are you feeling this morning? I'm doing a little better myself this morning, and I even ate some chicken. Mom "sneaks" me little pills that are helping my tummy. She wraps them in a treat, but I know they're there. Thanks for reminding me that Murph got steak when he was sick. I forgot all about that. Mom says it's because he had a "different sickness"....I don't think I'm "buying" that.

Murphy - I've never heard of this gravy thing. What is it and where can I get some? Anything to make this rice stuff taste like something! Maybe since I've kept dinner and now breakfast in my tummy I can go back to real manly food even though mom/dad don't think I'm acting right still. Seems to me Guinness's brother Murphy got steak when he didn't feel good, maybe I can get some of that! Thanks for the scoop about gravy, I'm going to sneak it on the shopping list.

I am so sorry you are feeling bad. Hope the chicken and white stuff helps. I like the white stuff...but I live in Louisiana and I usually get it with gravy. Sure hope you fell better dood.

Hey, Clifford here, I hijacked my mom's blog to ask if anyone knows what happened to my dinner? Where's the crunchy Fromms or the Sojos? The chicken was tasty but the other white stuff had no taste - I think my mom accidentally put some of that package stuffing in my bowl and expected me to eat it. Boy, she must think I'll eat anything! Ummm, maybe she's right, my bowl is empty and I don't have any else to blame it on. Sure hope it stays in my tummy!

Here's to hoping a bland dinner helps. If he eats and keeps it down, I wouldn't worry tooo tooo much unless something keeps nagging you........he may just have a virus or something.
