OK, fine. It's not bionic, but it will be much improved. On Friday, I had surgery on my right wrist to fix a tendon problem that I've been having for a couple of years. I have to wear a cast for 2 weeks, but it's not as cumbersome as I expected it to be. It's tough to do things left-handed, but I'm able to use my right hand a little more than I thought I'd be able to. Typing takes a lot longer, so that will probably limit my DK postings for the next couple of weeks. It is taking me forever just to type this.
Halas doesn't pay much attention to the cast, but he knows something is different. He's careful around me, so I think he knows I'm hurt, but he still thinks I should be able to play chase. (And I should, because it will be the only exercise I get over the next 2 weeks.) And he didn't get upset Friday when I took over his corner of the sofa to set up a pillow tower for my arm. He normally likes to kiss my hands a lot, but he's been limiting kisses to the left hand. It will be great to have his fuzzy little face around while I recover.
