Ouch! Harlow looks more like a Poodle than a Doodle!

Harlow went to the groomer today. Same groomer, third visit, but a totally different doodle came home today. Not sure what the groomer was thinking, maybe she forgot that Harlow wasn’t a poodle. From the top of Harlow’s head to the just-about pomp of her tail, she looks like a poodle. So much like one in fact, I could probably get an ILP from the AKC. I am going to have to find a good picture of a good doodle clip and keep it with me!

I don't think she looks like a poodle.....maybe she could have left the beard a little longer. I think she will look great in 2-4 weeks.

She doesn't look so bad, she looks like a happy girl! It's the shave between the eyes that these grooms just can't forget about that ruins the whole look. Same thing has happened here time and time again and we're on the thrid groomer. I am going to take Michele's idea and get a picture to take with me.

You'd probably be surprised at how many of us this has happened to. I learned to take a picture of the way I like Penny to look, and had them staple it to her form. And each time I go in, I remind them to pull the photo. They're great folks, but they see sooooo many dogs that it's hard for them to remember. Hey, I even have to remind my OWN hairdresser what MY hair should look like every time! LOL

I've had the same problem. 1st visit is different than others. You have to tell them every time.

Post a picture of your new Poodle. I have to start keeping a file of do's and dont's when Charli needs to be groomed.
