Hey doods! This is Peri, mini goldendoodle, from Nashville!

I wanted to blog about my Sunday afternoon with the family. What a day! The best in a long time! Mom and dad took me and Taquito to Nana and Grandad's like they always do on Sundays. Wow that was fun.

Pretty soon after we got there, I played in the backyard as usual. Then the humans got all three of us (me, T and my aunt Lucy the terrier) and took us to the FRONT YARD! We don't go there much because it is not fenced in. Anyway, mom had a bag of liver treats and havarti cheese (my favorite). We went down and played with the B-A-L-L (as mom says it). They let me off the leash and I think mom was worried, but I was ball obsessed and stuck to them like GLUE! Until nana threw some green balls (pekans??) into the ditch and I started chasing those!!!!! What fun what fun what fun! And Taquito even ran to the neighbors yard and pooped. Dad got real mad and was chasing him and guess who was so good? ME! The crazy doodle!

Then, we got put on these super long leashes attached to a pole in the ground so the humans could play something they call bochey ball?? Anyway, dood that was fun watching them! We even posed for a photo:

Then we went back to the backyard and they thought I was tired. Dood they were wrong. I did zoomies all over and dug in some mud. I got a bath and smell soooo good now! And today I am super tired. What a Sunday!

Peri, it sounds like you had a perfect day! And we're very proud of you for staying near your mom and dad! As Jackdoodle would say, when someone's playing ball with you, why would you ever want to go somewhere else???

Peri u and T, look so great in that picture, I am sooooo jealous, we don't get real nice fall weather and leaves falling here in Florida, and we don't get htat white sturff in the winter either...I told Mom, we should go on a trip so I could run in the leaves, and maybe play in the white stuff this winter, but I don't think that is going to happen anytime soon...Mom & Dad like the warm weather, although Mom told Dad that she still misses the fall, and the leaves turning colors, and the smell of the burning leaves and the sound of the acorns popping in the leaves...BUT she definately doesn't miss the white stuff...Well I think they should let me try it and decide what I like....We do have some great times at the park though, and maybe Mom will take us to the beach when her knee gets better....Glad that you and T. had such a good day....Your friend Oliver

This is the best time of year for that...you know...digging...with the ground kind of wet and soft and stuff...
