Peri Loves her Charlotte

This morning, Charlotte crawled right up to Peri and pulled her tail.  I had turned my back for two seconds. Peri gave an annoyed grunt and walked away. I told Charlotte "NO, you must be gentle" - I am trying to teach that but am dealing with an 8 month old and pretty sure they don't understand that yet :)  Anyway, after that I think Peri felt bad and started following Charlotte everywhere.  Literally everywhere.  I think I have told y'all before, but Peri is such a good doodle sister. She will come alert me when Charlotte wakes up.  She will go and lie down next to C's door and wait until I come to the room.  She is just wonderful with her.

 

So this morning, while Peri was following Charlotte, being her "glue", I caught this pic.  A priceless moment that really describes their relationship. Peri is always one step behind or next to Charlotte. Always :)

After another phone conversation this week with yet owner goldendoodle owner looking to rehome the dog because of "aggression" towards the kids, this blog (and that adorable photo!) just warms my heart. Kudos to you, Allyson, because as we all know, it's not the dog, it's the owner.

And Peri is a very smart doodle! She knows that staying behind Charlotte will keep her tail out of reach!
