Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
The week has been unseasonably mild here in NH, with temps in the 60's. We've been able to get a jump on yard work - which is a great thing as we never quite finished our fall clean-up. When we're unable to keep a constant eye on Banjo, we'll tether him to the front porch. He can sit up on the porch, or down on the driveway. There's one stubborn patch of ice that remains and THAT is where Banjo gets comfy! He did this last year too. Any time we would be outside working, he'd be sprawled on the iceberg. It seems like it would get too cold...but he stays for the longest time! Could he have Polar Bear ancestors??

Callie would love to be a Polar Doodle! Unfortunately, I cannot provide this for her. We're already in the 80s here, and the air conditioner is on!
I'm glad to hear there are other Polar Doodles out there. I can understand if they enjoyed the cold of the ice "through" their coat.....but Banjo's belly is quite "naked" (recently groomed)....it is beyond me how the ice against that tender belly skin can feel good! Another day or two....and poor Banjo won't have his iceberg anymore!
The few times we get snow or ice, Peri loves to just lie in it. I think those double coats make them like the cold.
This is so funny....how can that possibly feel good?
Banjo you look so cute :) and yes both my doodles will lay on the last piece of snow in the yard, I guess it feels good to them...burrrrrr
I don't know about polar bear ancestors, but he sure looks cute!
Super cute Banjo!
Ice, what's that? : ) Banjo, you may really have polar bear genes.
