I'm picking up this painting of Halas tomorrow at our doodle romp.  I think it looks great.  I can't wait to see it in person.

I had the privilege of seeing the actual portrait yesterday, and it's even more beautiful in real life! Although no painting could be as beautiful as the real Halas!

To answer other questions, I e-mailed 3 or 4 photos to her, and she used one of those as the subject.  His ears were a little uneven in that particular photo, so I sent her another one to show their normal length.  I think this one is the main photo that she used.

Here is the info for the person that painted this portrait.  I'm going to get it framed in the next couple of weeks, so I'll post more pictures then.  Thanks for all of the comments.  I picked the portrait up yesterday, and it looks great!
