This scene happens about three times per day.  Milt plays with a ball, Milt loses his ball, and Milt desperately wants it back.

Help me, Momma!

Happy Martin Luther King, Jr. Day everyone!  Today is one of those wonderful school holidays when I am home with the Milt, and poor Daddy is off to work again.  I actually will be a  Dood Mom of two boys today because Milton invited his little buddy, Leo, over to play.  Plenty of fun will be had; you never know what kind of mischief two doodles can get themselves into!

Holly has never paid much interest to toys which is probably for the best.  We have a little Maltese who lives for toys and gets very protective if any other dog wabts his toy...

Awww Milt... my Ollie gets himself into trouble too with losing his toys under things... he tries like heck to get them and if his arms don't reach far enough he will bark at this really high pitch until I get it.... spoilded doodle !!!

That's so cute!  My Bexter does the same thing!  He's very into his balls, and when he loses them, he freaks out trying to get them back.  I always have to come to the rescue...

Libby does the same thing with her ball, but hers goes under our couch or chair and then she digs, digs, dig on the carpet until we go get it!  At first I thought it was all an accident, but after watching the situation she is doing it most of the time on purpose!  They are sooooo funny:)
