Quincy and Fenway Have Fun on the Fairway

We've been waiting for spring and it's finally arrived. We went for a walk on the golf course and were joined by Quincy's friend Fenway. Fenway's mom works at the golf course and he has free run of the place. The first time we met him we thought he was lost and I was having visions of a brother for Quincy. I was a little disappointed when we found out he wasn't lost and he couldn't come home with us.They had a great time and except for the unplanned trip into the river it was wonderful. Getting green yucky mud and dirt off a white dog required several soapings.

Yes, it's Clovelly, we went today for the last time until fall. I'm not sure what kind of dog Fenway is but he sure is cute. Fenway is a bad influence, I didn't used to have trouble keeping Quincy out of the mud and water, but Fenway steals the tennis ball and always runs into the mud and water and Quincy, of course, chases him. It took me three times soaping and rinsing him today when we got home before I got all the mud out. Quincy doesn't get to play with other dogs a lot and they have such a great time together, so it is worth it.

Quincy in action is so GORGEOUS!!!!! And Fenway is a partidoodle? How neat. Clovelly? We used to live in the east end and went all the time late fall/winter. Fantastic.

Kim, we don't use the golf course in the summer, and only have another week or so before they start preparing the greens, once they start with the chemicals we don't go anymore. We use it from about Nov till now and it is great that they let people use it, we even use it for x-country skiing and snow shoeing.

@Rosey and Bandit, a romp with you would be super, do you steal tennis balls, Fenway kept stealing the ball and running off with it, he even tried to bury it in the sandtrap but I was too smart for that. We are lucky we have a few places that we go for off leash play and I am really going about not wandering off. We just got back from a play session at the field we use near our house, Mom was not happy with the snow flurries, I think she just needs a nice fur coat like mine.

Quincy always looks like he is enjoying life!  I wonder what the golfers think when you go for walks in the summer.

Rosey & Bandit are soooo jealous!!  They would love to romp with Quincy and Rosey would certainly be up for a swim in the river!!
