Please - everyone say a prayer for my boy!  I'm sobbing I am just so worried and feel so bad.  Yesterday started off with Rooney being his typical puppy self, happy and bouncy, ate his breakfast.  I took him to the puppy sitter as it was my golf day and picked him up later in the afternoon.  She made the comment that she couldn't get him to poop but I didn't think anything of that.  So we went to the puppy park for his usual zoomies with his buddies but that is where I started to get concerned a little bit as he simply would not go run and play, that is not my Rooney.  Afterwards I brought him home and we went for a little walk - he did poop then and it looked fine so I wasn't as worried.  But then I fed him dinner and immediatly he puked it right back up.  So I called the vet (4:55 p.m.) that they were one vet short and wouldn't be able to see him till Thursday.  I still wasn't too worried and we had a quiet evening and Rooney slept next to me all night without a problem.  We got up at 3:00 a.m. today - we were taking a road trip today and he was his usual happy self so I thought he was better - till I fed him and he puked again.  I call the Animal Hospital and they said to bring him in.  I'm thinking o.k. he has the dog flu or something.  OMG - they took x-rays and his stomach is obstructed.  They don't know by what.  I am heart broken!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I watch him like a hawk, did he swallow something?  I had to leave him there, they are starting an IV and a whole bunch more Vets come in at 8:00.  They are going to pow wow to decide what to do.  They may do an ultra-sound and/or a scope with surgery being discussed.  I love him so much and I just am sick over it.  I may know something around 9:00-9:30 - I'm afraid for the phone to ring.  Leaving him was horrid.

Thinking positive thoughts for you and Rooney...very scary.

You did the right thing.  Puppies swallow all kinds of things and he was probably just trying to hide something he found at the sitter's.  My pup hides things in his mouth all the time and I tell him to give it to me and he willingly opens his mouth and there it is.  He'll be fine.  Try not to worry, although I know that is hard to do.

Jack and I are praying for you and Rooney.  I know that I would be completely distraught if something happened to my boys.  I hope everything works out.
