Rosco and Thule had a Doodle Houseguest this weekend!

Our friend's F1 labradoodle, Noulli, stayed with us this weekend and did great at wearing out my doggies =)
He had a difficult first night settling in his crate in our room--wanted to be touching Thule I think the entire time so he vocalized this for a long time. He's absolutely smitten with her and thinks she's there for his humping delight. She's gotten really good at telling him when she's had enough, but he's a...um...male, so you know how that goes! LOL

His first full day the doodles played hard for the first half but my doodles soon decided all this playing business is for kids, not 3-4 year old dogs. So Noulli got a nearly 2 hour dog park trip of his very own (great for tiring out 8 month old energetic pups!) and slept like an angel last night!

Today he enjoyed the calmer things of life...chewing Nylabones, real bones, kongs, and other toys.

Dog sitting is a lot like having our two year old twins niece & nephew over fun while they are here but relieved when they go back home. :-)

Dog sitting sure lets you know that your dogs have adapted to your life and schedule. The visitor, no matter how well behaved, usually needs a little special treatment - like a trip to the dog park. We get my daughter's lab on Wed. nite - Sunday. He and Ned do not have an off button when they are together.
