Fun at our local AKC show!
Spent an hour and a half this morning at our local annual AKC dog show and got some nice pics of adorable dogs!
Here are some highlights:
First a couple of "obama dogs" or porties:
Clark threatened a number of times to approach the handler of any remotely doodley dog and ask "Is that a labradoodle?" LOL
I don't know what this is, but it's gorgeous!
And he just had the sweetest face ever. Also you can't tell from this angle, but his back hair was of a length he looked like a lion!
This pup was the cutest thing...oh my I wanted to take him home. It is an Old English Sheepdog pup
Here are the floppy adults:
The doodley German Wirehaired Pointer
The narrow, tall, pointy Borzoi
Their heads are SOOO pointy/narrow that if they turn a couple centimeters to the side you are no longer looking at them in the eyes!
My mom has one and I'll finally get to meet her this summer!
My friend's French bulldog, Truman
Gorgeous Giant Schnauzer who we were lucky enough to see perform in Utility level obedience. He did great and was a hoot to watch. After the recall he would return to heel position with a big vertical bounce as he went around the handler's side. Utility is all off leash and includes a free heel, finding an object among other objects and returning to front, going out to pick up a white glove and returning to front, going out straight ahead of the handler, turning and sitting on command and then returning by jumping over a jump.
These Italian Spinones are SO doodley looking! They reminded me of a creamy white Rosco with rougher coat and actually look a lot like Theresa's doodle Rudie!
Totally regal boxers!
This mini poodle booty made me laugh!
And finally...the Hungarian Puli!
It was so neat to see all of them...I will go again on Sunday and see if I can catch some other neato breeds!

omg i just looked at the pictures. rudie does look like the italian spinore. i did get rudie at a shelter , but some doodles breeders told me he is a doodle.

Thanks for the Photos, Adina. I love looking at the different breeds. Looks like you had a great time. And you were not kidding about the Italian Spinones looking like Rudy! Looks like they could be related!

Looks like both you and I had fun yesterday at dog events! I can't begin to tell you how many people took photos of Gaston-Cramer. I wondered what total strangers did with them! LOL Now I know!
