Today I called Petsmart grooming salon to make an appointment for Charlie for her hair cut. Charlie has been going there ever since her first hair cut, and her groomer has been wonderful with her. She always call to let me know if she have to be cut shorter, or gives her a break if it gets too much for her... She always cut Charlie's hair the way I ask her to, and knew how I like it. Charlie is a reactive girl, but LOVES her groomer, and she loved Charlie. Even when we were just shopping there, she would make a point to come say hello to us, fuss at Charlie, etc...

Well, when the person answered the phone, I told her that I was calling to make an appointment for Charlie with Roxanne. And then, the lady said, " Roxanne is no longer working with us."

When I was finaly able to say something, I said " Well, that will be a problem." The lady said that because of the policy, they are not allowed to tell us where she works now.... :-(

It may sound so silly, but I am so sad..... I don't know what to do for Charlie's hair cut now.... :-(

I guess I am not so tactful. I would just talk to the store manager and let him know that I am more than a grooming customer. If they know where she went they may be more willing to let you know rather than completely loose you as a customer.

Maybe you can give your phone number or email to someone there and ask them to pass your details along to Roxanne with some info on who you are

Kyoko, I am so sorry you have lost Charlie's groomer. It is a big deal. I would do what Joanne suggested and see if you can 'sweet talk' someone into telling you where she went.

Joanne, surely you could call PetSmart and trick them into revealing the info. I know you can!!

You know, I checked to see if I can find her on Facebook!! How silly..... Joanne, there is this girl who Roxanne used to give a ride home to ( I saw them leave together one day) So, I am going to try spotting her and quietly ask.... It was really important to me to have a good groomer, especially because of the way Charlie is. Because of Roxanne, she never had no problem at groomer's..... as a matter of fact, loved going there, because she loved her....:-(

Go into PetSmart and shop around too. Stop and start talking to a really friendly young girl in the isle. Possibly you can .... I don't want to say Trick, but that is the idea, of letting you know where she went.

Check with your local groomers. Take out the phone book, make some calls, play detective.
" Hello. I'd like to make an appointment with Roxanne. Oh, she does not work there? I must have made a mistake. I thought someone told me she did. Do you know her?"

Possibly you can track her down somewhere in your area.
